Types of discrimination in the court practice of the Constitutional  Court  of  Montenegro  - Comparative analysis  with the  court of the  European Court for Human Rights and the Court of Justice of European Union, implemented by the Institute for Legal Studies – IPLS.

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the general antidiscrimination policies and practices in Montenegro. In specific, it aims to assess existing practice  of  the  Constitutional  Court  of  Montenegro  in proceedings  related  to  violation  of  the  right  to  equality. Estimated project results are: 1) Practice of the Constitutional Court in proceedings related to violation of the tight to equality assessed; 2) Developed study: ”Types of discrimination in the court practice of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro- Comparative analysis with the case law of the European Court for Human Rights and the Court of Justice of European Union”; 3) Raised knowlege of representatives of judical institutions about the case law of the European Court of Human Rights and  the  European Court  of  Justice.

Within  this  project framework, the IPLS will conduct following activities: Signing of the MoU with Constitutional Court of Montenegro; Conducting the research; Development of the study ”Types of discrimination in the practice of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro – Comparative analysis with the case law of the European Court for Human Rights and the Court of Justice of European Union”;  Printing  of  100  copies  of  the  Study; Organization of the round table. Target groups of the project are: 1) The Constitutional Court; 2) Media and general public; 3) CSO’s engaged in evaluation of general antidiscrimination polices and practices. The project will last four months.
